Illumination and Stable Support for Stereos
All transmitted light bases and support stands include a sturdy 13" x 11" base plate with built-in wrist rests, black and white contrast plate, and stage clips to keep slides in place. The light bases include an external 150 watt cool fiber optic illuminator or a built-in 20 watt halogen illuminator. The light bases include heat filters to provide cool illumination, and their adjustable mirrors enable both brightfield and darkfield function.

The TLB 4000's large work area, combined with its built-in 20 watt illumination, make it an economical and versatile choice for the crowded lab environment. The 6 volt, 20 watt power supply is continuously variable from 3 to 6 volts. It powers a high efficiency Osram Xenophot halogen lamp with a light output of 480 lumens (39 candle power). The high efficiency optical design ensures this light is delivered to your specimen. |
