The TLB4000 stereo microscope stand has a large work area and built-in 20 watt illumination, making it an economical and versatile choice for the crowded lab environment. The 6 volt, 20 watt power supply is continuously variable from 3 to 6 volts. It powers a high efficiency Osram Xenophot halogen lamp with a light output of 480 lumens (39 candle power). The high efficiency optical design ensures this light is delivered to your specimen. The illumination is easily adjustable between full field of view and condensed illumination for high magnification observation. The direction of illumination is adjustable via a tilting and front to back movable mirror. This simple but elegant designs provides the microscopist the ability to vary the illumination from brightfield to darkfield and all the variations in between making the observation of various low contrast specimens easy.
